We design and construct custom outdoor kitchens in North & South Florida, integrating durable finishes and modern cooking appliances.
We build outdoor kitchens two ways. Modular cabinetry drops into a straight run along a lanai or pool deck; full masonry handles L-shapes, curves, and tight setbacks against a screen enclosure. Either layout keeps the grill venting away from the house and the prep space within reach of it.
Built-in grills need code clearance to combustibles, a rated hood where the island sits under a solid roof, and gas and electrical runs sized for the appliance. Wood-fired and gas ovens weigh hundreds of pounds, so they land on a slab that carries the load or on footings we pour.
Bars and beverage centers add plumbing and power to the island: a sink, a drain line, GFCI circuits in weatherproof covers, refrigeration rated for outdoor use. Remodels run the same trades through an existing shell, and salt air has usually gone after its fasteners and framing.
Coastal exposure ruins ordinary cabinetry, so we build with marine-grade polymer, 316 stainless, and quartzite or porcelain tops that hold color under Florida UV. We pull the gas, electrical, and plumbing permits under our own license, and the licensed trades on site answer to us.

Two outdoor kitchens the same length can be very different projects. The number our estimator uses, the three things that actually move it, and the order to decide them in.
Both builds use the same stone, the same appliances and the same crew. What separates them is a trench you cannot add later, and a trip count that tells you which one you actually need.
The shape is the last decision, not the first. Four things about your site rule out most layouts before anyone draws one, and the counter that gets cut to fit the appliances is the part you will miss every single time you cook.
Appliances are not what you add at the end of an outdoor kitchen. They are the cutout dimensions, the gas line size and the number of circuits. These are the nine decisions that come before any model number, in the order they have to be made.
Everyone spends their design time on the countertop, which is the part least likely to fail. The frame and the fasteners are what decide whether the kitchen still looks right in year ten, and both are buried inside the island.
